Tony Leigh

Being part of the Discovery Senior Leadership Team is my absolute pleasure. As my second role as Deputy Principal, I am in the privileged position to lead staff in order to support children who deserve the very best. Before working at Discovery, I held many leadership roles in a mainstream Secondary School. I began my career in education as a Teaching Assistant before becoming a qualified teacher in Art and Design.

As Deputy Principal, I am accountable for a vast amount of strategic and operational aspects of the school. Above all, it is my duty to keep students safe and well by supporting a culture of excellent safeguarding.

For me a career in education is a great privilege. It is wonderful to see young people thrive and grow with the support of a cohesive and nurturing staff team.
