Classrooms are not the only place we learn. At Discovery we value the opportunity for pupils to discover things about themselves in a range of environments. 

Our high staffing ratios enable a flexible approach to each pupil to be able to keep children engaged in their learning for ever increasing periods of time. This may be a change of venue to reduce anxiety or sensory strain - making use of quieter spaces around the school building.

We educate outside the building both on site - for example play and social interaction or football coaching - and off site.

Off site activities include Judo, using the BMX track, shopping, abseiling, sledging, train spotting, archery, tending the allotment, swimming and horse riding.
