Thrive is based on the development of a child at different stages of their lives and works to secure the skill they may not have been able to secure previously. The approach is underpinned by lots of research and scientific evidence to support it and its impact on a child’s future. There will also be 1:1 sessions undertaken by our staff in Compassionate Schools who have successfully become Thrive practitioners. This will enable those students who may have gaps in their development where their peers don’t to secure these skills. Following a fantastic whole school introduction delivered by Thrive in September, the practitioner training and a member of the leadership team attending the leadership course available we are really pleased and proud to have been awarded the Thrive logo to use on our website as an ambassador school.

Thrive will be holding an awareness session at Discovery on 23^rd October for local professionals to come and see our facilities, learn more about the approach and answer any questions.
